Description

The olive oil friselline are small, crunchy baked goods typical of Salento's culinary tradition. They are a smaller version of the classic friselle, made from a dough of durum wheat flour, water, yeast, and, of course, extra virgin olive oil. Thanks to the presence of olive oil, they have a rich and aromatic flavor.

They can be enjoyed on their own as a snack or paired with ingredients like tomatoes, olives, and cheeses. They are highly appreciated for their simplicity and versatility.

We especially recommend them as an accompaniment to our spreads and oil preserves, particularly the turnip greens spread and the “Semisecco condì” tomatoes.
