Durum wheat and barley "maritati," produced by Mulino a Pietra Maggio in Poggiardo, are an artisanal pasta made from a unique blend of durum wheat flour and barley flour. The "maritati" come as a mix of orecchiette and maccheroni, traditional shapes from the culinary heritage of Puglia and Salento, perfect for holding sauces, making them ideal for hearty, substantial dishes.
